Tammy Richards

Tammy A. Richards is the Manager of Valuation and Consulting Services at Pieciak & Company, P.C.. Since joining Pieciak & Company, P.C. in September 2006 Tammy has focused primarily on providing business valuations of family-owned and closely held businesses for use in succession planning, estate and gift tax filing, purchase/sale transactions, divorce and shareholder disputes. Tammy has completed business valuations in various industries including manufacturing, wholesale/retail distribution, retail, investment management and real estate holding vehicles. In addition to valuation services, Tammy provides financial consulting services focused on acquisition advisory, cashflow projections, and debt financing facilitation.

Prior to joining Pieciak & Company, Tammy spent either years working at Citigroup in New York where she held various positions within the investment banking division. She spent five of those years in the Acquisition Finance Group working closely with private equity firms in valuing and financing their leveraged buyouts of middle market and large-cap companies via syndicated bank loan and high yield bond transactions. Tammy spent the following three years as Vice-President in the Global Loans Portfolio Management Group, where she managed a portfolio of highly leveraged corporate loans retained by Citigroup.

Tammy graduated summa cum laude with honors from Hamilton College in 1996 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics. She earned her Accredited Valuation Analyst ("AVA") designation in January 2007. Tammy is an active member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts ("NACVA") having developed course material for Day 3 "The Nuts and Bolts: The Income Approach" and Day 4 "The Nuts and Bolts: The Asset and Market Approaches" of the BV Fundamentals webinar series as well as the CMAP credentialiing exam for the Mergers and Acquisition Workshop. Tammy was electd to the Valuation Credentialing Board in June 2009.
