Scott Miller
Scott D. Miller is a nationally recognized authority on transition planning for owners of middle-market businesses. He has an extensive history of senior level industry experience and significant equity ownership in his employers. Mr. Miller has successfully worked with hundreds of businesses throughout the country on strategic transition planning, where the focus is primarily on alternatives involving management and employees - often with the use of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and Trust (ESOP).
Mr. Miller is President and founder of Enterprise Services, Inc, a nationally respected consulting firm specializing in strategic transition services for owners of middle-market companies. Mr. Miller is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He is a graduate of Kenyon College and Cornell University (MBA).
Mr. Miller is a frequent speaker to industry, professional, and community groups on a broad range of topics including business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, implementing ESOPs, valuing middle-market companies, and corporate finance issues. He has authored several books and seminars for professional organizations including the AICPA and NACVA on such topics as Mergers and Acquisitions, Buying and Selling Companies, Business Transition Planning, ESOPs, and Business Valuations.
